A better fit can prevent injuries and the increased comfort also encourages passengers to buckle up. The Rolls-Royce Cullinan doesn’t offer height-adjustable seat belts.

The Bentley Bentayga’s rear backup camera has a standard washer for maintaining a clear view under various conditions. In contrast, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan does not offer a rear camera washer, meaning its effectiveness relies on manual cleaning by the user when necessary.

Both the Bentayga and Cullinan have rear cross-traffic warning, but the Bentayga has Reversing Traffic Warning (automatically applies the brakes) to better prevent a collision when backing near traffic. The Cullinan’s Cross Traffic Warning doesn’t automatically brake.

The Bentayga Hybrid can travel with zero emissions for 20 miles. The Cullinan can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.

An engine control system that can shut down some of the engine’s cylinders helps improve the Bentayga V8’s fuel efficiency. The Cullinan doesn’t offer a system that can shut down part of the engine.

Regenerative brakes improve the Bentayga Hybrid’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The Cullinan doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.

In heavy traffic or at stoplights the Bentayga’s engine automatically turns off when the vehicle is stopped, saving fuel and reducing pollution. The engine is automatically restarted when the driver gets ready to move again. If the conditions warrant or the driver wishes, the system can be manually disabled at any time for the duration of a trip. The Cullinan doesn’t offer an automatic engine start/stop system.

For more complete vehicle control the Bentayga has a manually controlled automatic, with the available convenience of an automatic transmission and the complete gear control of a manual transmission without the inconvenience of a clutch. A manually controlled automatic allows the driver to eliminate unwanted shifts and maximize engine braking by down shifting while cornering. The Cullinan doesn’t offer a transmission that allows complete gear control.

The Bentayga SPEED’s launch control uses engine electronics to hold engine RPM’s precisely in order to provide the most stable and rapid acceleration possible, using all of the available traction. The Cullinan doesn’t offer launch control.

For better stopping power the Bentayga CCB’s front brake rotors are larger than those on the Cullinan:

The Bentayga SPEED offers optional heat-treated ceramic brake rotors, which last ten to twenty times as long as conventional cast iron rotors, don’t rust, don’t fade during repeated high speed braking, and their lighter weight contribute to better braking, handling and acceleration. The Cullinan doesn’t offer ceramic brake rotors.

For better traction, the Bentayga has larger tires than the Cullinan (285/45R21 vs. 255/45R22). The Bentayga’s tires are larger than the largest tires available on the Cullinan (285/45R21 vs. 255/40R23).

The Bentayga SPEED’s optional tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Cullinan’s optional 40 series front tires.

The Bentayga offers an optional space-saver spare tire so you can replace a flat tire and drive to have the flat repaired or replaced. A spare tire isn’t available on the Cullinan; it requires you to depend on its run-flat tires, which limits mileage and speed before they are repaired. If a run-flat is damaged beyond repair by a road hazard your vehicle will have to be towed. Some tire options on the Cullinan don’t have a run-flat feature, either.

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Bentayga is 1.3 inches wider in the rear than on the Cullinan.

The Bentayga SPEED executes Motor Trend’s “Figure Eight” maneuver 2 seconds quicker than the Cullinan Black Badge (24.6 seconds @ .79 average G’s vs. 26.6 seconds @ .68 average G’s).

For better maneuverability, the Bentayga SPEED’s turning circle is 5.9 feet tighter than the Cullinan’s (37.4 feet vs. 43.3 feet). The Bentayga’s turning circle is 2.7 feet tighter than the Cullinan’s (40.6 feet vs. 43.3 feet).

For greater off-road capability the Bentayga has a 2.9 inches greater minimum ground clearance than the Cullinan (9.7 vs. 6.8 inches), allowing the Bentayga to travel over rougher terrain without being stopped or damaged.

The Bentley Bentayga may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 500 to 700 pounds less than the Rolls-Royce Cullinan.

The Bentayga’s liftgate lifts up in one piece, completely out of the way of loading and unloading, while sheltering the cargo loading area. The Cullinan’s tailgate’s top part raises up, but the bottom part lowers, getting in the way of loading and making an uneven surface for sliding cargo.

To make loading groceries and cargo easier when your hands are full, the Bentayga’s liftgate can be opened and closed just by kicking your foot under the back bumper, leaving your hands completely free. The Cullinan doesn’t offer a hands-free gesture to open its tailgate, forcing you to put cargo down if your hands are full.

Standard Trailer Sway Mitigation on the Bentayga (except Hybrid) uses the Electronic Stability Control sensors to detect trailer sway, then uses individual brakes to counteract any swaying and help keep the tow vehicle and trailer steady. The Cullinan doesn’t offer electronic trailer sway control.
